Daddy’s Here is a television documentary that celebrates fathers and fatherhood, countering the negative images in the media about absent fathers. We don’t make excuses for them, but we do celebrate dads who are involved in their children’s lives, custodial or non-custodial, who many times have to overcome challenges and obstacles to be there for their children no matter what. A dads role in a child’s life is so critical to his or success, and Daddy’s Here is part of a movement to bring fathers and fatherhood back into the forefront of this nation’s conscience. To uplift, recognize and showcase those fathers who say being present is the only option.
